Interestingly this station is not actually in Wimbledon despite its name. It’s actually in the suburb of Morden in south London, close to the end of the Northern Line. Morden, once a Surrey village has been swallowed up into the capital by ribbon growth but still retains an individual charm. One of the best local attractions is the wonderfully arranged Morden Park.
