Richmond is a town just to the west of Greater London in Surrey. It is an affluent and green suburb with a fascinating royal history. Many of the buildings in the quaint high street date back to Tudor times and the local authority work hard to keep the area looking clean and tidy. Beside the River Thames Richmond is an excellent place to visit on a summer’s day, to take a stroll or a boat ride, visit the theatre or a museum. Richmond has something for everyone.
