Situated in the London Borough of Croydon, Purley Oaks is an area in the southern reaches of Croydon. Te station serves a small residential community made up of a great deal of commuters like many of the leafy suburbs of Greater London. Trains run as part of the Brighton Mainline to the south coast and to central London.
