Oval station is in the middle of Kennington, a suburb of south London. Located on the Northern Line, the station is the main gateway to the Kennington Oval Cricket Ground, home to Surrey County Cricket Club. The famous old ground has a proud history and traditionally hosts the last England test match in a test summer. Over the years the likes of Bradman, Gower, Botham, Border and Gooch have all trod the hallowed turf.
