Served by the Metropolitan Line, Northwood Hills is a station in Travelcard zone six on the edge of Greater London in what would once have been classed as Middlesex. Situated in the London Borough of Harrow the station serves a largely residential community that has grown up around the Northwood area. The station was named after a competition was held in 1933 but interestingly it is in fact lower than its neighbouring station Northwood.
