Norbury is a good sized suburb in the London Borough of Croydon that enjoys rail facilities from this station. The area around the station has several shopping streets which offer an eclectic retail and leisure experience; there is also a great deal of residential housing nearby. Regular trains run on the Southern Trains Network.
