Once called Pope Street Station, this station is now called New Eltham Station as it serves the newer area of the historic suburb of Eltham in south east London. The station lies in the London Borough of Greenwich and is not far from the brilliant Eltham Palace. Regular trains depart the station on the Dartford Loop Line towards Kent and central London.
