Neasden is a historic part of north London with records of the suburb extending back as far as 950 ad. However the area in recent times has gained a reputation as being rather run down and deprived. It has a large number of immigrant communities from Asia and Eastern Europe. These new communities have helped to regenerate the area and many new shops, pubs and restaurants are beginning to appear. It is on the Jubilee Line.
