Part of the Dockland Light Railway mass transit network, Mudchute Station is on the Lewsiham branch of the system in east London. The station is in Travelcard zone 2 on the Isle of Dogs extremely close to Milwall Dock and Milwall football club. The station was originally to be named Milwall Dock but after several incidents involving football hooliganism in the area, the plan was rethought and the name changed.
