Loughton Station is close to the end of the Central line on the border between Greater London and Essex. The town enjoys a prime location just on the edge of the magnificent Epping Forest that sprawls for miles in every direction around the area. A sleepy suburban area, the town is an interesting mixture of London life and the villages that surround it. It forms part of Essex’s commuter belt.
