Bayswater Road is one of the largest trunk roads to travel through the centre of London, tracking the northern edge of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Lancaster Gate is one of the main entrances to the parks and is a beautiful residential area. Once inside Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens visitors are treated to hundreds of acres of beautiful parkland, lakes and monuments. Marble Arch is also close to the station.
