Knightsbridge is an affluent area in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The station is extremely busy because of its proximity to the most famous department store in the world; Harrods of Knightsbridge. Tourists from around the world flock to the ‘terracotta palace’ on the Brompton Road to shop, eat and simply indulge in the atmosphere of splendour. A short walk along Brompton Road is the London Oratory, the second largest Catholic Church in London.
