Kingsbury is in the London Borough of Brent in the northwest of the capital. The Jubilee line between Queens Park and Wembley in Travelcard zone 4 serves the station. The area was built around an ancient manor house known as Kingsbury Manor. In fact it was from the manor that John Logie Baird made his first experimental television broadcasts from London to Germany. Today the area is busy and ethnically diverse offering something for everyone.
