A small area on the eastern edge of the London Borough of Brent, Kensal Green borders both the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. The names Kensal Green and Kensal Rise are both used to denote the same area of London. Close to the station is the magnificent Kensal Green Cemetery that is the oldest working cemetery in the United Kingdom. The area is also noted for its many celebrity residents who are often spotted in Queen’s Park.
