A part of the London Borough of Hillingdon, Ickenham is to be found in the west of London, close to Ruislip and Uxbridge. The town is most famous for its biennial festival; The Ickenham Festival. This was originally conceived as a way of promoting the wealth of clubs and societies that exist in the area to other locals but has since become a tourist attraction to which people travel from across the land.
