Highbury and Islington are two busy and fashionable areas of north London. The station serves the Underground as well as mainline services in and out of Kings Cross. Islington is noted for its many famous residents and is home to some of the nations most celebrated figures in the world of music, literature, film and politics. Tony Blair owns a house close to the station. The station is on the Victoria line and in Travelcard zone 2.
