Heathrow airport is the busiest airport in Europe and a major transport hub not just for London but for the whole country. Most international carriers serve this enormous airport on the west of London. The airport has a large number of facilities for passengers including shops, bars and restaurants. There are several large car parks at the airport for both long and short term visits. The station is at the end of the Piccadilly Line and it can take some time to arrive there by tube. An alternative mainline service operated from central London that is quicker but far more expensive.
