Hammersmith is a bustling commercial, residential and transport centre to the west of London. Its many features include two large shopping malls and the UK commercial offices of some of the worlds biggest companies. The Hammersmith Apollo concert hall is one of the most famous music venues in the country and regularly plays host to the worlds top bands when they visit the capital. Other impressive attractions are the Lyric Theatre and the world famous nightclub, The Hammersmith Palais.
