The station is located about 400 metres south west of the main town centre in Greenwich. Strangely the next station on the line ‘Cutty Sark’ is actually closer to the town centre and many of the maritime districts attractions. These include the market, Greenwich Observatory, The national Maritime Museum and the famous Greenwich Foot Tunnel that links the area with the Isle of Dogs across the Thames.
