This station is located at the intersection between Finchley Road and Golders Green Road, in the leafy suburbs of north London. The district is famous for having a large Jewish community. Near to the station is the Golders Green Hippodrome that is the home venue for the BBC Concert Orchestra. The station is located on the High Barnet spur of the Northern Line in Travelcard zone 3. It is not a great distance from the station to the breathtaking Hampstead Heath.
