Finsbury Park is a cosmopolitan area of north London in the London Borough of Islington. Finsbury Park is one of London’s largest Victorian parks and is close to the Underground station. Another nearby place of interest is the Finsbury Park Mosque which came to the headlines after extreme cleric Abu Hamza was banned from preaching there in the early twenty first century. The station is often used by football fans to access Arsenal football club’s Highbury stadium, which is nearby.
