Close to some of the capital’s most famous attractions, Embankment is an extremely busy station on the north bank of the river Thames. Between Hungerford and Waterloo bridges the station offers easy access to The Strand and across the river the London eye, Tate modern gallery and Festival Hall. Along the river outside the station is Embankment Pier where travellers can change to river transport. There are also two very popular steamboats that have been converted to pubs opposite the station.
