Chigwell is an affluent suburb that intersects the border between Greater London and Essex. Famous as being the home to many of London’s top football stars, especially players from Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal, the area is leafy and green. The station is located on the Hainult loop of the Central Line and was one of the first to operate on the London Underground network without a staffed ticket office. The station is in Travelcard zone 5.
