Situated just outside Greater London, Buckhurst Hill is in Essex and part of Epping Forest Borough. The Central Line expands to the east around 20 miles from central London and many of the stations en route are converted from original Victorian mainline stations. Nearby is the magnificent sprawling Epping Forest which once covered much of northeast London and still attracts visitors from across the capital to relax and enjoy a pastoral day out of the city.
