This station serves the northern area of the London suburb of Bromley. Although officially part of Kent the station is extremely close to what most would consider to be Greater London. The area around the station is relatively affluent and residential. Bromley enjoys a good deal of open spaces and parkland and a great selection of shops and entertainment facilities.
