The Hammersmith and City and District lines serve the station. It is extremely close to its sister Docklands Light Railway station at Bow Church, less than 200 metres walk away. The station-booking hall is a grade II listed building and like much of the east end of London has a long and fascinating social history. Located in Travelcard 2 the station is in the heart of the vibrant east end.
