One of the Underground’s most interesting and historic ‘deep-shaft- stations, Borough is situated in south East London on the Northern Line. Some of the station’s oddities include a lift that takes you to the platform southbound but not northbound and signs that tell you when the next train is in the entrance hall as well as the platforms. The station has been renovated in recent years and like much of the Northern Line is now comfortable and safe to use.
