Barnes Station stands in a village within a city. Close to the centre of Barnes the station is surrounded by beautiful historic houses, large green areas and wide tree lined avenues. Barnes is a beautiful part of London just south of Hammersmith on the southern banks of the River Thames. Close to the station there are several historic churches, restaurants, pubs and numerous greens and playing fields. The London Wetlands Trust is a short walk away from the station.
