The station can be found at the intersection between Archway and Holloway Road, almost underneath the impressive Archway Tower in north London. Archway is on the High Barnet branch of the Northern Line and for ticketing purposes is considered to be between Travelcard zones 2 and 3. The station is relatively close to Highgate Cemetery, the burial place of Karl Marx.
