Many people visit this station because of its proximity to the Paddington Branch of the Grand Union Canal, the mighty man made body of water that sweeps from West to East across the capital. The Station can be found on the Edgware Road branch of the Piccadilly Line in Travelcard zone 4. Opened in 1903, the station was once known as Perrivale Alperton, before being renamed in 1906.
