The closest railway station to Ben Nevis, Britain’s tallest mountain, Fort William is an extremely well used facility on the West Highland Railway. It is also the starting point of the ‘Jacobite’ Britain’s only remaining scheduled steam passenger service which again is a huge attraction to the area.
