Serving a tiny village in the Highlands of Scotland Dalwhinnie Station is a small interchange on the Highland Mainline. The station is also served by the Caledonian Sleeper and the East Coast mainline. The station serves mainly as a service stop because in bad weather the railway has to be closed.
