This tiny station is in a quaint and isolated community on the west coast of the Highlands of Scotland. The station is on the Road to the Islands from which visitors are treated to wonderful sea views, rough craggy coastline and tremendous inland countryside. The area around the station relies heavily on the tourist industry and has a good deal of facilities to cater for the influx of visitors during the summer months. A small passenger ferry runs between the area and some small surrounding islands.
