This station serves the tiny village of Achnasheen in the remote Highlands of Scotland. Served by the Kyle of Lochalsh Line the town is quite isolated from civilisation, tucked away in the naturally stunning surroundings of the Scottish highlands. Although only a tiny place it is in fact village that the local postal district is named after.
