This railway station is the only remaining facility for rail travel in the large county town of Shropshire. The station is a grand and beautiful building which is located close to the centre of the community and the large selection of shops, attractions and entertainment facilities. The trains run to the station on a number of lines from the Welsh borders and down the English coast.
