Selly Oak Station is situated in the southern suburbs of the large Midlands city of Birmingham and is the principle transport hub for the Selly Oak area of the city. Close to the station are a collection of theological colleges that have become part of the University of Birmingham. The station is served by trains on the Cross City Line.
