Rolleston Station is about half a mile away from the Nottinghamshire village of Rolleston which is one of the many Trent villages that dot the surrounding areas. Close to the town of Southwell, the station is directly adjacent to Southwell Racecourse which it serves as the primary rail access point on race days. The facility is on the Nottingham to Lincoln Railway.
