This station is situated in the Newham and Sherwood districts of Nottinghamshire and is the principle rail access point for the small village of Lowdham in the countryside. The station enjoys regular services as part of the Nottingham to Lincoln Railway Line. The station is close to some basic facilities, but is primarily amongst residences.
