Duffield Station serves the small Derbyshire village by the same name. It is an important interchange because it not only serves the main stream railway network on the Midland Mainline from Derby to Leeds but also forms a junction with the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway, which is a heritage railway operating steam locomotives.
