Barrow-upon-Soar Station is on the Midland Mainline between Leicester and Loughborough serving the small town of Barrow in the Leicestershire countryside. The station is close to the banks of the River Soar and the area immediately around it is famous for having been the site of many archaeological digs that have found a great many dinosaur skeletons in the past. These can be seen on display in Leicester Museum.
