Barnt Green Station serves a primarily residential area on the outskirts of Birmingham. The station is surrounded by housing and residential projects. However there are a few shopping streets close to the station offering a relatively eclectic mix of food and clothing products from around the world. There are several nearby pubs and bars and a selection of places to eat.
