Barlaston Station serves a primarily residential community on the edge of Stoke on Trent. The area around the station has some small shopping streets and a few places of entertainment, but resedential housing providing homes for many of Stoke’s workers surrounds primarily the station. The station is well used as a commuter point to access the city centre for work and commerce.
