Aschurch Station is in a small Gloucestershire village close to Tewksbury. The station is probably best known for its proximity to the Ministry of Defence central base for storing vehicles, together with royal engineers equipment for building bridges and pontoons. The housing developments of the village run directly into Tewksbury an historic town that stands between the River Severn and the River Avon and is a popular tourist resort in the summer months.
