This station is on the Whifflet Line on the eastern fringes of the city of Glasgow. The interchange is located in a mainly residential area of the city and is populated mainly by working people, many of whom use the station to access the facilities and jobs in the centre of Scotland’s second city. There are a few shops and entertainment facilities around the station, but most travel into the city centre.
