Welwyn Garden City Station is a major railway interchange close to the heart of this large Hertfordshire town. A forerunner to the new towns of the 1950s Welwyn was a forward thinking look at modern housing and town building. Today it is home to a large commuter population who area well connected with the capital by rail.
