When you travel north of Cambridge on a stopping service one of the first village stations that you will arrive at is Waterbeach in Cambridgeshire. On the edge of the Fens, the station is very small and only has a long enough platform for some services. The facility is served by trains running up country towards Kings Lynn in Norfolk and south to Cambridge.
