Sandy Station lies close to the heart of the small market town of Sandy, positioned on the cusp of the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire borders in southern England. The area is best known for being home to The Lodge, the headquarters of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. There is a large reserve and museum about two miles away from the station.
