Rye House Station is in Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire, a town that runs into Broxbourne. Situated just north of London on the Hertford East Line that connects Broxbourne with Hertford and London Liverpool Street, the station is close to Rye House Marsh which is a popular RSPB wildlife sanctuary. The historic Rye House was involved in the English Civil War and stands close by.
