Potters Bar is a fair sized town in Hertfordshire about sixteen miles directly to the north of the centre of London. Home to a large commuter population, the station is part of the East Coast mainline Railway that connects London King’s Cross Station with the major eastern cities of the north of England, including York and Newcastle.
