Meldreth Station was built to serve the small Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire border village of Meldreth during the Victorian ‘railway mania’ era, when it was thought that every village and town should have a station. This facility connects the people of the area with London and Cambridge as part of the First Capital Connect Network.
